I have a proofing press, Sacapruebas A3, from Arteina. When printing with a proofing press you have to put ink to the types by hand with a brayer.
I have lot to learn when it comes to inking by hand and how to treat different inks and also ink an paper combinations. It´s difficult but fun.
I think rubber based letterpress inks give the best result - BUT I want to use a ink that don´t needs toxic solvents when cleaning. Right now I try to work with AKUA intaglio - a soy based ink that cleans up with water and soap.
