With non-perfect holes you get a ugly sewn text-block. Therefore, I decided to make a punching cradle. I followed Paper Chipmunk's description. http://paperchipmunk.com
With a cradle you get the holes perfectly in center of the spine-folds of the signatures.
Today I also mounted my newly sharpened paper knife for the paper guillotine. With the perfect sharpened blade cutting a text-block is like cutting butter.
